Meet Your Coach~ Shavleen Kaur
My Journey to ADHD and Life Coaching
Welcome! I’m Shavleen, a dedicated ADHD and Life Coach with over two decades of experience in critical care nursing, mindset coaching, management, and clinical education.
My journey into coaching began when I was a clinical manager, searching for better tools to manage the stress of my job and support my team. During this search, I discovered NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), which transformed my perspective and provided me with clarity, calm, and a deeper understanding of how the mind works. This realization led me to pursue mindset coaching, where I naturally began to attract ADHD clients. Their stories resonated with me, whether they were newly diagnosed, still seeking answers, or navigating life post-diagnosis. I found that ADHD coaching aligned perfectly with my passion for understanding the brain and human behavior.
With my nursing background, I have worked in high-stress fields such as critical care, oncology, and management. These experiences taught me the importance of listening deeply and approaching every individual as a whole, rather than just addressing their problems.
I understand that ADHD impacts not just the mind, but the whole person—emotionally, physically, and psychologically.
On a personal level, I’ve faced my own challenges with feeling misunderstood and dealing with rejection sensitivity. Through my coaching training and the concept of neuroplasticity, I’ve learned that we aren’t broken; we’re simply wired differently. My coaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that every person has unique strengths that can guide them toward a more fulfilling life.
In our sessions, I create a safe space for you, recognizing you as a whole person with endless possibilities. My curiosity and love of learning drive me to continue growing, and that energy fuels my passion for helping others discover their true potential.
